We’ve been lucky enough to have the support of many people and organisations, and here’s a few we’d like to give a shout out…
Derbyshire Wildlife Trust
From the very beginning we have worked closely with Derbyshire Wildlife Trust, whether it be surveying the land, sharing ideas and most recently being the recipient of a government Green Recovery Challenge Fund grant awarded to the Trust to build facilities across several sites across Derbyshire. We are proud to be part of the Wild Peak initiative, led by DWT and Rewilding Britain.
Sam Rose for Rewilding Britain
Sam spent a day here taking some wonderful pictures for Rewilding Britain’s Wilder National Parks campaign and kindly shared the pictures with us for use on this website. Check out Sam’s website here and Rewilding Britain’s website.
Karen Finlay - Graphic Designer
Meeting Karen through a mutual friend, she worked her magic with my back-of-the-envelope sketch to create our logo, for which we are hugely grateful for this generous act of kindness. Using her illustrative skills, she creates unique graphic artwork for local businesses, helping them to stand out above the rest. Visit her website to see her work… www.kjcreative.co.uk
Sandra Nock - Horticulturalist
Sandra is a trained horticulturalist who has worked for the National Trust and Kew Gardens, London. She has single handedly risen to the challenge of producing the design and managing the execution of our RHS Tatton Flower Show 2021 border ‘Weed Thriller’, fimly putting her in the category of progressive. We rely on her heavily for her knowledge of plants and willingness to embrace nature fully.
Connor Lomax - Waller
Connor is a skilled professional dry stone waller who kindly taught us to wall, and then ran two volunteer days teaching others the basics of walling and repairing some of our walls in process. He will be running more walling days including some tuition courses in the near future - check out the events page for upcoming events or email us to register your interest.
Andrew Statham - Drone Pilot
Andy is a licensed drone piot and photographer, who is generously supporting our project through the capture of drone images of the land as it changes. He’s taken some beautiful footage and makes short films see his website here.
